What To Bring

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS

  • Blankets
  • Beach towels
  • Prescription medicine (in a marked bottle with proper matching ID)
  • Non-professional & personal cameras (NO professional cameras or recording devices)
  • GoPros
  • One (1) sealed or completely empty water bottle up to 2 liters in size. Unsealed bottles will be checked upon entry through security to ensure they are empty.
  • Clear Reusable Vinyl or PVC Bags (Maximum Size 12″x6″x12″)
  • Small Clutch Bags (About the size of a hand, does not need to be clear, max size 4.5″x6.5″)
  • Hydration Packs (sometimes known as Camelbaks), but they must be empty and not have pockets
  • Medically necessary bags and diaper bags will not need to be clear
  • No plastic/grocery shopping bags will be permitted
  • Cell phones and portable chargers/external batteries
  • Sealed sunscreen lotion (inspected upon entry)
  • Sunglasses
  • Hats
  • Fanny packs
  • Personal-size Hand Sanitizer (no larger than 3.4oz)
  • Low-profile beach chairs, inflatable couches, & air sofas.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • NO alcohol
  • NO noise makers, horns, whistles, musical instruments, or boom boxes
  • NO plastic sipper bottles, glass bottles, or glass containers
  • NO potential projectiles, frisbees, footballs, etc.
  • NO non-transparent backpacks
  • NO camcorders, professional cameras, or recording devices
  • NO tripods, cameras with detachable lenses, or other commercial uses
  • NO cans, coolers of any size, ice chests, picnic baskets, thermoses
  • NO wallets with chains
  • NO umbrellas
  • NO tents 
  • NO weapons of any kind
  • NO baby strollers or small wagons for toddlers
  • NO fireworks or explosives
  • NO illegal drugs or illicit substances of any kind
  • NO outside food & drink
  • NO animals (with the exception of pre-approved service animals)
  • NO skateboards, bicycles, motorized vehicles, or scooters
  • NO selfie sticks of any kind
  • NO drones (with or without cameras) or any unmanned flying vehicle
  • NO laser pointers
  • NO paint, Sharpies or permanent markers
  • NO items to obstruct other fans’ views (kites, flag poles, large signs, etc)

*All guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry. You can help keep the lines moving quickly by leaving large bags and prohibited items at home. Any prohibited item that is confiscated will not be held or returned.

 

Please respect our city & respect Fort Lauderdale Beach. Please pick up any trash you come across and limit any plastic you bring to the beach. Be smart, be aware of your surroundings, and please remember to drink responsibly.

Riptide Music Festival will be going “Cashless” in 2023.  Cashless is the easiest way to pay for food, drinks, merch, and more at the festival.    Make sure you bring your Credit/Debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Android Pay, Tap to Pay, and are all forms of accepted ‘Cashless’ payment types. If you don’t have one you will need to borrow the same one you used to buy your Riptide Tickets. ATM’s will not be available on site because we are cashless.

Riptide Music Festival is for all ages. (Super VIP Tabels are 21+) 

Location

The festival is located at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park: 1100 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.

Parking: There will be limited parking available throughout the beach area, so we encourage everyone to take rideshare to (Uber, Lyft, etc.), YellowCab, Brightline, or the Water Taxi to the festival.

Shuttles: This year there will be no shuttles available for purchase. We recommend taking rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.), YellowCab, Brightline, or the Water Taxi. 

Directions:

From Ft. Lauderdale Airport: Exit airport. Head US-1 N/Ft Lauderdale and merge onto N SR-A1A N/U.S. 1 N/S Federal Hwy. After 2.0 miles, turn right on SE 17th Street. Continue onto SeaBreeze Blvd. Look for signs for parking.

From Miami: Head north on I-95 toward Ft. Lauderdale. Take exit 24 to merge onto I-595 E toward Port Everglades/International Airport. Take exit 12B to merge onto N SR-A1A N/U.S. 1 N/S Federal Hwy toward Ft Lauderdale. After 2.0 miles turn right on SE 17th Street. Continue onto SeaBreeze Blvd. Look for signs for parking and shuttles.

From the Miami Airport: Head south toward Miad Circle. Continue straight onto NW 21st St. Take ramp for FL-112 EAST (partial toll road). Take the I-95 S exit toward Downtown (toll road). Follow signs for I-95 N/Ft Lauderdale/Orlando and merge onto I-95 N (partial toll road). Take exit 24 to merge onto I-595 E toward Port Everglades/Ft Laud-Hlwd/International Airport. Take exit 12B to merge onto N SR-A1A N/U.S. 1 N/S Federal Hwy toward Ft Lauderdale. Turn right on SE 17th Street. Continue onto SeaBreeze Blvd. Look for signs for parking and shuttles.

Nope. Riptide Festival attendees will not be allowed to enter the ocean while inside our festival grounds.

There will be NO boat anchoring offshore of Riptide Music Festival. There are protected coral reefs. Please, if you are coming by boat, reach out to the local marinas for assistance with docking. The offshore area will be heavily patrolled to prevent boats from anchoring.

Nope, no roads will be closed.

Tickets

 Absolutely! Riptide Music Festival is All Ages. Plus, all kids 2 and under get in for FREE! Any child over the age of 2 will require a regular purchased ticket.

When going through the purchase process, buyers can click on the “View Layaway” button and the site will advise of layaway payments and schedule based on the purchaser’s selections made at checkout.

We do not have wristbands for this festival – just e-tickets. While all ticket buyers will receive a purchase confirmation email at the time of purchase, FrontGate will email the festival E-tickets a few weeks before the festival.

The are no refunds and all sales are final.

Riptide Music Festival will go on Rain or Shine! However, if there are severe circumstances, we may postpone, evacuate, or cancel the event.

There is no re-entry.

Low-profile beach chairs, inflatable couches.  Chairs cannot have coolers or umbrellas attached to them. (They must be set up in the designated chair zone. Chairs may not be set up close to the stage, and holding spots is prohibited)
